To tell or not to tell others that you have epilepsy continues to be an issue for those with seizure disorders.

We would like to hear from you about how you deal with this question. We will compile the results (no names) and report back in a future newsletter.

  • Do you tell family, friends, co-workers?

  • When do you tell?

  • Why do you tell?

  • Do you tell some people but not others?

  • What have been your experiences when you do tell?

  • What have been the disadvantages and/or benefits?

  • How do you feel when you tell?

  •  How do you feel when you don’t?

Please mail your responses to:

The EEA Office @ 11007—124 Street, Edmonton, T5M OJ5 or email us at info@edmontonepilepsy.org.

All responses will be confidential. We would like to see if there is a difference depending on age so we would appreciate if you could include your age and how you were when diagnosed. Your input and experiences would be very much valued.
