Status
Epilepticus
A continuous seizure state, or status epilepticus, is a life-threatening
condition. In status epilepticus, seizures are prolonged or occur one
after another without full recovery between seizures. Immediate medical
care is necessary. The seizures may be convulsive or non-convulsive.
